She was born to be an entrepreneur and has worked with many companies throughout her career, including Thunder Valley Resort and Casino, Sacramento Kings, The River Cats, Sacramento County, and Placer County to name a few. As an active member of her community, she is a member of several Chambers of Commerce, served on numerous boards and committees and was voted into a public service office two terms for Placer County. Maria continues to serve as a leader. 
She has an insatiable appetite for knowledge and graduated from the University of California, Davis in Professional Coaching Communication and continues her education in Neuroscience Leadership.
