    City of Sacramento Approves Financing Program to Encourage Development and Economic Investment
    The Sacramento City Council passed a resolution at its City Council meeting on April 18 to join the Statewide Community Infrastructure Program (SCIP). SCIP allows property owners to finance development impact fees and public capital improvements through tax-exempted bonds for up to 30 years. For more information on SCIP, please click here.


    Capital South East Connector Project Environmental Document
    The Capital SouthEast Connector Project's Environmental Document for the City of Rancho Cordova's portion of the project has been released and is now available for 30 days for public review and comment. To view the document or to learn more, visit the project’s website.


    Placer BDC Recap
    Rocklin Mayor Scott Yuill gave members an overview of current projects and economic development plans for the city at the April meeting last week. To view his presentation, please click here.


    El Dorado BDC Recap
    El Dorado Hills CSD General Manager Kevin Loewen and nexus study consultant Nate Perez attended our April meeting last week. Members gave feedback about the draft study, and their comments and edits will be incorporated. BIA staff will redistribute the study to the group when we receive it and will discuss next steps.


    City of Roseville Seeks Input for General Fund Budget
    The Roseville City Council approved the "Engage Roseville: A Community Conversation About Priorities" in a city council meeting held April 19th.The effort will involve the Community Priorities Advisory Committee consisting of residents, businesses and others who have a stake in Roseville's quality of life. Applications to serve on the committee are being accepted through May 19, 2017. A representative of the BIA will be serving on this panel. For more information, follow this link
