WHAT? Natomas is one of Sacramento’s best kept secrets, but why?
The area has huge potential and offers a suburban lifestyle with access to downtown Sacramento within minutes.
Natomas is finally booming again! With Bay Area families looking to transplant, this should be their first stop. Not to mention recruiting from neighboring cities.
How do we get the word out that Natomas is THE place to call home?
A place to raise a family or even cool enough for a professional to plant roots? Currently information regarding the Natomas region of Sacramento is challenging to find without searching multiple sources. Wouldn’t it be great if we could offer information about school systems, new construction and infrastructure projects exclusively for Natomas? The notion that new construction is not allowed in the region is outdated. Improvements have been made and we are open for business.
The reality is Natomas has become one of the fastest growing communities in the greater Sacramento area, with many residential and infrastructure projects already under way. These projects will change the landscape of the community and make it even more appealing to prospective buyers.
WHY? In order to facilitate the growth of Natomas and sell Natomas to home buyers, we need to educate new home sales agents about the value of Natomas from the inside out, since they are the new spokespeople of the community.
WHO? Angelique Ashby, Sacramento City Councilmember, District 1 (Natomas) Primary Talking Points:
Education system – what schooling options exist. Where these options rank among schools in other areas of Sacramento.
Infrastructure growth – what transportation programs are being added to help handle the increase of residence living in the area to commute to and from work.
Industrial growth projects – Arco Arena, finishing half completed buildings that add to the stagnant image…projects that are going to help get new businesses, and job opportunities to the area.
Residential growth projects – Affordability, type of projects (high density, SFR, Multi Family, etc.), number of proposed units over the next 12, 18 and 24 months respectively.
