BUILD - Building Universal Industry Leadership & Diversity
In 2005, the North State Building Industry Association established BUILD, a leadership program designed to create a pipeline of future industry and association leaders through education and exposure to the depth and breadth of the home building industry. BUILD candidates are selected through a competitive application and interview process. They participate in a yearlong program of monthly seminars and workshops which feature professional skills training, industry experts, public policy education and exposure to the association and its many functions in support of the homebuilding industry. In addition, each BUILD class is required to commit its strengths and resources to a community service project.
